When I grow up, I want to become a lawyer

More than 1 300 Haitian children and students attend the school of Saint Francis de Sales in Rivière Froide. The school is managed by Little Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus. The sisters from this congregation focus on the poorest. The school also enrols children, whose parents are unable to pay for their tuition fees or school items. Children from preschool age, pupils of elementary and high school are educated here. One of the pupils is Jean:  “My name is Jean. I am from Haiti, and when I grow up, I want to become a lawyer. My 4 sisters and I are raised only by our mom. Our father has left us. They tell me I am thin and little. But I have great classmates, and we always have a good time. I like learning a lot, and my favourite subject is the French language and Bible study. I have been supported by the Children’s donation project® for three years now and thanks to donations I can go to school because my mom without the help of Slovak donors would not be able to pay for my school fees. I have school items, school uniform, hot meals during classes, which is splendid. I am happy I can go to school, and when I grow up, I will become a lawyer.”

There are many children like Jean in Haiti. We try to provide education for other Haitian girls and boys. People can always join the support for Haitian children. You can join HERE. Thank you for any help for children in need.
