For many, Christmas time is one of the most inspiring times of the year. Contemplating their essence, we can say that the message of Christmas also brings us to the meaning of life. The Son of God came into the world as an innocent poor child. His arrival is accompanied by the modesty of external living conditions. Jesus chose a family that did not have many material means but was extremely rich in love, faith, and spiritual realities. It was the faith of Joseph and Mary that gave Jesus home and acceptance.

And it was also faith that brought wise men from distant lands to the small city of Bethlehem. The Bible describes their journey and desires to see the Messiah as follows: „After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.“ (Matthew 2:9-11) The wise men were not sure that they would see the child of God, but faith was their inner motivation. Perseverance and sensitivity to spiritual realities brought them to the place where the Son of God was born. Humility bent their knees to worship the little Jesus. Above all, faith and humility allow us to open the eyes of our hearts and see what we might not otherwise perceive in life. Wherever there is faith and humility, even today, Love is given space to be born and transform this world and human lives.

Dear adoptive parents, donors, friends, and supporters, Your humanity and sensitivity to spiritual realities affect the world even today. The whole year, through your interest and donation, you selflessly change the stories of children that most of us never see in person. However, with the eyes of the heart, we all together feel, that thanks to you, Love entered the lives of more than 7 205 boys and girls in different corners of the planet. Just as the star shone on the path of wise men, you are also a light in the darkness for thousands of children. We are extremely grateful to you that in these challenging times, your help spreads the message of Love and Christmas and brings good to the most vulnerable.
